I've been coming to Spring Lake Inn for around 25 years. Over the past 5 or 6 years it really went down in quality. Everything use to be perfect. I stopped going to Spring Lake for a few years and just recently went back when I heard they had new owners. I was pleasantly surprised! I had the peel and eat shrimp which were cooked perfectly. My dad had the prime rib, while it did not have the herb crust it used to have back in the day, it was wonderfully seasoned. My husband got the smash burger- which was not smashed at all and was pretty thick. But it was juicy and he loved it. My mom shared the prime rib with my dad but got a plate of American fries that were just like how they used to be and she loved them. The cheese curds were cooked just right. The portion was smaller than in the past, but they are around the same size or a bit larger than the other restaurants around town. Our favorite servers, Nicole, was there! Overall, we're were very happy with our meal and will be back soon!
If you find your self staying in prairie du chein area. This place is a favorite. The best chicken sandwich to date. You will get a old supper club vibe here which I love. They start you off at night with a relish tray. Order a Bloody Mary with a beer back of spotted cow. My family's ribeye sandwich also came recommended.
One of our favorite go to places !! Great service - food and drinks are always top notch ! Burgers are very good along with all their other many delicious options.
What a fantastic joint on the outskirts of Prairie du Chen! We found a table outside on their patio to enjoy a late lunch. The server was friendly and working her butt off! The inside had good vibes and decor. I'd recommend a stop for a beer or a meal!
Food and service very good. It's a nice and relaxing restaurant. I would recommend that the prices listed on menu to match amount charged on bill. Please have the waitress offer the relish tray and bread rolls to people instead of having to ask for them. Thanks!
